Job Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the overall academic, administrative and financial growth of the university.
- Develop and implement long-term institutional goals aligned with the university's mission and vision.
- Promote excellence in teaching, research, innovation and community engagement.
- Strengthen national and international collaborations with universities, industries and research organizations.
- Lead academic planning, curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with higher education regulations, accreditation standards and university policies.
- Provide leadership in faculty recruitment, development and performance management.
- Represent the university at academic conferences, government forums and international events.
- Encourage interdisciplinary research, innovation and entrepreneurship across all faculties.
- Promote an inclusive, ethical and student-centered academic environment.
- Monitor institutional performance through strategic planning, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee financial planning, resource allocation and sustainable institutional growth.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Business Management, Management or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Outstanding academic achievements with a distinguished record of teaching, research and scholarly publications.
- Extensive leadership experience in a recognized university in India.
- Strong understanding of higher education governance, accreditation frameworks and institutional policies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large academic institutions and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in research funding, academic collaborations and international partnerships will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, decision-making and strategic leadership skills.
- Commitment to academic integrity, innovation and institutional excellence.
