Important Requirement
- We require experienced Steel Fixers.
- Relevant hands-on steel fixing experience is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Read and understand construction drawings, bar bending schedules and technical instructions.
- Cut, bend, place and fix reinforcement steel according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Install reinforcement bars, mesh and other steel components accurately.
- Tie reinforcement bars using binding wire and appropriate tools.
- Ensure correct spacing, alignment, positioning and fixing of reinforcement steel.
- Prepare and assemble reinforcement cages and steel structures as required.
- Check dimensions, levels and locations of reinforcement before concrete work.
- Use hand tools and steel fixing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with supervisors, carpenters and other construction workers to complete assigned work.
- Follow all required workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working area.
Eligibility Criteria
- Relevant experience as a Steel Fixer is required.
- Strong hands-on experience in steel fixing and reinforcement work is preferred.
- Good knowledge of reinforcement steel, bars, mesh, binding wire and related materials.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and bar bending schedules.
- Experience in cutting, bending, placing and tying reinforcement bars.
- Ability to accurately measure and position reinforcement according to specifications.
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Good communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of performing steel fixing and construction activities.
Working Conditions
- Work will be carried out in a professional construction environment in Dubai, UAE.
- Duty hours will be 8 hours per day as per company requirements.
- The position involves steel fixing, reinforcement and construction activities.
- Work may require working at construction sites, structures and project locations.
- Candidates must follow all applicable workplace health, safety and construction procedures.
