Job Responsibilities
- Operate robotic welding machines and automated welding systems according to production schedules.
- Monitor welding operations to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with production standards.
- Perform basic robot programming, parameter adjustments and modifications as required.
- Validate welding programs before production release.
- Identify, report and assist in resolving welding defects.
- Ensure production targets, efficiency and quality requirements are achieved.
- Follow Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures at all times.
- Implement emergency response procedures during emergency situations.
- Regularly inspect tools, welding equipment and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
- Maintain production records and complete all required documentation accurately.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Mechanical, Welding or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within the Switchgear industry.
- Technical certification in Robotic Welding will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MIG welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with robotic programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Working Conditions
- Production Shop Floor Environment.
- Medium Risk working environment requiring strict compliance with HSE standards.
