Job Responsibilities
- Support the Vice Chancellor in implementing the university's strategic vision, academic policies and institutional objectives.
- Provide leadership in academic planning, curriculum enhancement and quality assurance initiatives across all faculties.
- Monitor the performance of academic departments and recommend improvements to strengthen teaching and research excellence.
- Promote interdisciplinary research, innovation, industry collaboration and international academic partnerships.
- Coordinate with Deans, Heads of Departments and administrative teams to ensure efficient academic operations.
- Assist in faculty recruitment, professional development, succession planning and performance evaluation.
- Represent the university in academic conferences, seminars, government meetings and international collaborations whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with national higher education regulations, accreditation standards and university governance policies.
- Support student success initiatives by encouraging academic excellence, innovation and an inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare strategic reports, institutional performance reviews and recommendations for the Governing Council.
- Lead institutional development projects aimed at improving academic rankings and global recognition.
- Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Vice Chancellor and Board of Trustees.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Business Management, Management or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Extensive academic experience in a recognized university in India with a distinguished record of teaching, research and academic leadership.
- Outstanding research publications in reputed national and international journals.
- Strong experience in university administration, policy implementation and institutional governance.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary academic teams and manage large educational institutions.
- Experience in accreditation, quality assurance, academic audits and higher education compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong collaborations with academic institutions, industries and government organizations.
- Commitment to maintaining academic integrity, innovation and excellence in higher education.
