Job Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses in the assigned discipline using modern teaching methodologies.
- Develop, review and enhance course curriculum in accordance with academic quality standards and industry requirements.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in reputed national and international journals.
- Supervise postgraduate dissertations, undergraduate projects and research activities.
- Guide Assistant Professors and junior faculty members in teaching, research and curriculum development.
- Participate actively in departmental committees, academic councils and quality assurance initiatives.
- Develop industry collaborations, consultancy assignments and research partnerships.
- Organize seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes and academic conferences.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, presentations and research assessments.
- Promote innovation, interdisciplinary learning and student engagement in research activities.
- Contribute towards university accreditation, ranking initiatives and institutional development projects.
- Maintain academic integrity while supporting the university's vision, mission and strategic objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching, research and academic experience in a recognized higher education institution.
- Strong record of publications in Scopus, Web of Science or other indexed journals.
- Experience in supervising postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
- Knowledge of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), accreditation standards and quality assurance practices.
- Experience in curriculum development, programme review and academic administration will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish academic collaborations and contribute to institutional research initiatives.
- Strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation and continuous professional development.
