Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, laboratory exercises and assessment tools in accordance with university standards.
- Conduct research activities and publish scholarly articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic projects, internships and research assignments.
- Evaluate examinations, assignments, presentations and other academic assessments fairly and accurately.
- Participate in curriculum development, course revision and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, conferences and faculty development programmes.
- Support departmental accreditation, academic audits and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research and academic innovation projects.
- Provide academic counselling and mentoring to students for their educational and professional development.
- Maintain accurate academic records and ensure compliance with university regulations.
- Contribute actively to departmental meetings, committees and institutional development initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Exceptional candidates nearing completion of their Ph.D. may also be considered subject to university policy.
- Minimum 3–8 years of teaching, research or industry experience relevant to the discipline.
- Strong academic background with a consistently good record throughout educational qualifications.
- Research publications in reputed national or international journals will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), digital learning platforms and modern teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire students through innovative teaching and practical learning approaches.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.
