Resource and Sustainable Supervisor

Job Description

Develop, implement and execute a Routine Management with reliable data collection, meetings, check and audits on site, indicators, analyses, root cause identification and action plan elaboration and execution; - Identify and implement improvement opportunities, projects and best practices; -

Manage the Communities Resource & Waste targets and objectives, aligned to the Manager, Director and  Manage the contracts related to Resources and Waste operation, transport, final treatment (recycling, landfill, waste to energy, hazardous, etc), suppliers, etc, verifying compliance with contract, analysing the contracts performance, applying the SLA, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to make them more sustainable, productive, efficient and safe.

Manage the necessary purchases related to the  Communities Resource & Waste Management Plan; - Respect the legal requirements, the  Policies and the Circular Economy Concept, focused in reducing the waste generation in the Community, becoming Zero Waste to Landfill, reducing the department expenses and increasing its incomes.

2) Sustainability Projects - Identify, implement and manage Sustainability Projects in Communities; - Improve Community Sustainability indicators and achieve its targets; - Give support to the Sustainability Champions; - Manage the necessary purchases related to the Sustainability Projects lead by Sustainability Champions; - Update reports and dashboards.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Minimum 5 years of experience with waste management operation (waste generation, storage, transport, segregation, waste facility operation, final destination/ treatment, etc); -

Minimum 5 years of experience with Resource & Waste contracts management; - Active profile for checks and audits on site; -

Ability to analyse procedures, processes, operation, identifying the root cause and solving problems; -

Management and operational skills; - Ability to initiate and implement projects with teams; - Focused on results;

Qualifications - Tertiary Qualification (degree or equivalent) in Environmental Engineer or similar course preferred
