Engine Department – Supervisor

Job Details:-
Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive/ Marine Industry (Engines).
Good Verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description:
 Report to Execution Head- Lifeboat Division.
 To understand the scope of work upon confirmation from the Project Engineers with
respect to Engine and propulsion systems.
 Assign manpower depending on job technicalities in liaison with Execution Head.
 Track inspection checklists prepared by Engine mechanics and prepare inspection reports.
 Communicate with Engine mechanics for any clarifications on the inspection checklists.
 Prepare a spare part list and generate part numbers for particular Engine makes as per  the OEM part manuals and submit to Project engineers for estimation.
 Provide technical specifications for locally procured spares/ services as required.
 Read and Understand technical manuals.
 Communicate with spares coordinator for the timely arrangement of materials/spares.
 Provide technical advice to engine mechanics on/off-field.
 Arrange necessary tools, materials, and equipment required for site jobs in advance.
 Supervise jobs at the yard and worksite whenever required.
 Monitor work progress on daily basis.
 Maintain shop floor, tools and equipments on daily basis.
 Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
 Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
