Job description - Data Analyst

We are looking for a person with 4+ years of experience who scrutinises information using data analysis
tools. The meaningful results they pull from the raw data help their employers or clients make important
decisions by identifying various facts and trends.

Requirements:
1. Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
2. At least 3 years of experience in working on MongoDB data pipelines
3. Knowledge of database query language (Redshift, SQL, etc) is a must. Hands-on Python/R experience
is an added advantage.
4. Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data
mining, and segmentation. 5. Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel or SPSS, SAS to
be used for data set analysis.
6. Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, PowerBi, Google Data Studio or any other
visualization tool is a must. 7. Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to
datasets in order to find solutions
8. Problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail.

9. Graduate in Computer Science,

Statistics, Data Management or a related field.

Responsibilities
1. Understand business needs and objectives and developing strategies for effective data models,
analysis and reporting
2. Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources
3. Select, configure and implement analytics solutions
4. Closely monitor all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality data governance
5. Extract reports from multiple data sources and create data products to transform raw data into
actionable business insights 6. Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance by

designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-
related problems.

7. Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for
process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for robust data
management.
