MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Diploma or equivalent b. Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience. Detailed practical knowledge & experience of machinery obtained through an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar formal training program. Minimum four year experience in refinery or other related heavy/ process industry with a major process plant manufacturers. Have a good knowledge of principles, practices and technology associated with the installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment installed in refineries. Must have detailed knowledge of craft practices and procedures. Knowledge of maintenance and operating procedures pertaining to equipment or facilities being worked on. Able to understand Technical drawings, Literature and instructions in English. Possess mathematical ability relevant to his craft content.
