Technical Consultant

Job Description:
1. Review and analyze the plant performance and process parameters of the assigned
Ammonia plant, including normal and abnormal operations conditions.
2. Ensure efficient achieving the production plans of the assigned Ammonia Plant at Ras Al
Khair.
3. Lead the development of Operations Strategy for all assigned Ammonia plants in line with
the vision, mission, and objectives of the company.
4. Advise and assist in training and development strategies that improve, and maximize employee
and organizational effectiveness ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational
goals and objectives.
5. Direct identification of plant’s potential bottleneck and propose effective solutions.
Recommendations about set point changes/parameter changes to overcome process and
operations difficulties.
6. Support during troubleshooting, risk assessment and HAZOP sessions.
7. Review of plant equipment limitations/capabilities to achieve higher throughput.
8. Ensure the availability of the appropriate mix of production resources e.g. raw materials,
equipment, and utilities in order to deliver high-quality and reliable outputs in a safe
working environment.
9. Preparation and generation of periodical and progress reports to keep top management
informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
10. Provide expert advice and consultation.
Qualification:
 Experience in Fertilizer/ammonia-producing plants is a must
 Relevant experience of a minimum of 10-15 years
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Industrial engineering / Process or Chemical engineering
 Relevant degree.
